Plugins marketplace (BETA)
WhatCopilot Plugins: in-app marketplace for live tools. OBS Overlay (beta) is a private OBS browser source for lineup and just-sold, driven from the livestream cockpit. Discord alerts are coming soon. Business or Entreprise with a 12-month commitment for overlay setup.
On this page
Plugins (`/app/plugins`) is the in-app marketplace for live-selling tools that plug into a calendar show. The public hub is Plugins. Each plugin also has a public page — OBS Overlay and Discord alerts.
Role
Keep stream dressing and alerts next to analytics and Delivery: pick a plugin, connect it to a show, run it from the cockpit while you sell on Whatnot. Plugins do not replace Whatnot chat, labels, or payouts.
Access
- Marketplace list: every signed-in seller sees the catalog (OBS Overlay beta, Discord alerts coming soon)
- OBS Overlay **setup** (generate / revoke URL): BETA gate `obs_overlay` — Business or Entreprise with a 12-month commitment, or the read-only demo
- Flexible (no commitment) and Pro: no overlay setup
- Public pages and like / dislike votes: no paid plan required (votes need a signed-in account)
Marketplace (`/app/plugins`)
- Recent / featured card plus the full catalog
- Status badges: Beta or Soon
- Like / dislike on each plugin (one vote per account; same button again removes the vote)
- Coming-soon tiles are not openable in-app; use the public page and votes instead
- Roadmap CTA if you want a plugin that is not listed yet
OBS Overlay (`/app/plugins/obs-overlay`)
Private browser source for a calendar show: current lot, upcoming lineup, just-sold ticker, optional trending badge. Recommended OBS size 1920×1080 (1080×1920 also works). Optional setting: hide sold prices.
- Pick a calendar show (`?event=` on the plugin page)
- Generate a private overlay URL — copy it once; regenerating revokes the previous token immediately
- In OBS: Sources → Add → Browser → paste the URL (width 1920, height 1080)
- During the live, mark playing / sold from the livestream cockpit — the overlay polls about every two seconds
- Revoke the URL when the show ends if you do not want the old link to keep working
Discord alerts (coming soon)
Listed on the marketplace and on the public plugin page. In-app setup is not available yet (`/app/plugins/discord-alerts` is not a live page). Planned: show-start and just-sold highlights into a Discord channel you moderate, from the same cockpit events as OBS Overlay — not a Whatnot chat scrape.
Likes
Signed-in users can like or dislike each plugin on `/app/plugins`, the plugin detail page, the public hub, and each public plugin page. Counts are public; who voted is not. Use the same control again to clear your vote, or switch to the opposite.
Use cases
- Card/sneaker live: keep the next lots on stream without a second camera on your seller UI
- Hide sold prices when you do not want hammers on the ticker
- Vote Discord alerts up if your community lives in a Discord server
Limits
- No live Whatnot inventory sync — you drive the queue
- One active overlay token per show
- Discord alerts not shippable yet
- Demo org: read-only (no token create)
- Treat `/overlay/[token]` like a stream key

FAQ
- Who can set up OBS Overlay in the app?
- OBS Overlay setup is a BETA feature. You get in-app setup with a 12-month commitment on Business or Entreprise, or in the read-only demo. Flexible billing and Pro do not include overlay setup. Anyone can open the public [Plugins](/plugins) pages and vote.
- Is the OBS URL a public page?
- You get a long-token browser-source URL per calendar show (`/overlay/[token]`). Treat it like a stream key: anyone with the URL can see the overlay. Regenerating it immediately revokes the previous URL.
- Does the overlay scrape Whatnot live inventory?
- No. You advance Now / Up next / Just sold from the WhatCopilot livestream cockpit. The browser source only shows what you mark.
- When will Discord alerts ship?
- Discord alerts are listed as coming soon. There is no public ship date. You can [vote on the plugin](/plugins/discord-alerts) from the marketplace or the public page.
