Whatnot OBS overlay
Give viewers a clean on-stream overlay: what’s playing, what’s next, and what just sold — without putting your seller dashboard on camera.
Private browser source
One OBS URL per calendar show. Regenerating it immediately revokes the previous link.
Seller-driven lineup
You advance Now / Up next / Just sold from the WhatCopilot livestream cockpit.
No Whatnot scrape
The overlay only shows what you mark in WhatCopilot. It does not read Whatnot live inventory.
Overlay preview
Demo stage with fictional lots — the same canvas your OBS browser source renders. Live data appears only after you connect a show in the app.

What the overlay shows
OBS Overlay is a WhatCopilot plugin for Whatnot live sellers who already use OBS Studio (or any browser-source encoder). Spectators see a 1920×1080 stage with the current lot, a short upcoming queue, a just-sold ticker, and an optional trending badge. Prices on sold lots can be hidden. Nothing seller-sensitive — notes, payouts, buyer emails — ever reaches the browser source.
How to use OBS Overlay on a Whatnot live
The plugin sits next to your calendar show. You generate a URL, paste it into OBS, then run the live from the WhatCopilot cockpit while you sell on Whatnot.
- 1
Open the marketplace
Sign in, go to Plugins, and open OBS Overlay. Pick the calendar show you are about to start.
- 2
Generate the OBS URL
Create a private browser-source URL for that show. Copy it once — regenerating revokes the old URL immediately.
- 3
Drive the live from the cockpit
Mark items as playing or sold in the livestream cockpit. The overlay polls every few seconds and updates what viewers see.
OBS Studio integration
Use a Browser Source. Recommended canvas: 1920×1080 (1080×1920 also works). The page is a public token URL under /overlay — treat it like a stream key.
- 1
Add a Browser Source
In OBS: Sources → Add → Browser. Paste the WhatCopilot overlay URL. Width 1920, height 1080, shutdown source when not visible.
- 2
Place it on the Whatnot scene
Keep seller UI off-camera. The overlay is the public layer; the cockpit stays on a second monitor or a hidden scene.
- 3
Revoke when the show ends
Revoke or regenerate from Plugins if you do not want the old URL to keep working after the live.
