Confirm your payout mode
In Seller Hub, check whether Early Payout is active. Standard US timing is typically after confirmed delivery; Early Payout can unlock when you generate the shipping label.

Ship on time, every show
Late labels and missing scans are the fastest way to lose Early Payout or trigger buyer cancellations. Aim to generate labels and get a first scan within Whatnot’s shipping window.

Separate show GMV from bank cash
Live totals are not spendable cash. Track pending vs available earnings so you do not restock on money that is still processing.

Price with fees + float in mind
Use a fee/profit calculator on low AOV lots. Processing fees and free-shipping promos shrink the buffer you need while payouts settle.
US timeline (official Help Center, not a guess)
Without Early Payout, US earnings typically become available up to four hours after the carrier confirms delivery. With Early Payout, they become available when you generate the shipping label. Bank transfer after you request payout is separate — usually 1–2 business days. Live GMV is not spendable cash until it hits available balance, then your bank.

On seller forums, the recurring shock is not the fee rate — it is waiting for delivery confirmation before funds are available, especially after big break nights. Early Payout helps once you qualify, but it can be removed if ship times, refunds, or cancellations slip.
