Whatnot Account Health: the metrics that unlock (or kill) Early Payout

US sellers talk about Account Health when cash gets stuck. Rating, on-time shipping, and low cancellations are not vanity scores — they decide whether earnings unlock at label generation or after delivery.

  • Three clocks

Rating, average ship time, and cancel/refund rate are reviewed together.

  • Early Payout link

Official eligibility still cites 4.8+ rating and shipping within two business days.

  • Ops, not vibes

A packed break night that ships late costs more than a smaller show you can clear.

Protect Account Health after every live

Whatnot reviews eligibility automatically. You cannot talk your way back into Early Payout — you ship, scan, and stop avoidable cancels.

  1. 1

    Check rating and ship-time weekly

In Seller Hub, treat average ship time and on-time scan rate as cash-flow metrics, not afterthoughts.

  2. 2

Generate labels the same night when you can

Early Payout (if eligible) unlocks at label generation. Late labels delay cash and hurt the same metrics that keep you eligible.

  3. 3

Cap the show to packing capacity

If you cannot pack and drop within two business days, cut SKUs or add help before you go live again.

  4. 4

    Stage inventory to avoid cancels

Oversold breaks and missing slabs trigger cancellation fees and rating hits. Pull product before first hammer.

How Account Health connects to payouts

Standard US earnings typically become available up to four hours after confirmed delivery. Early Payout moves that to label generation — only while you stay eligible. Official Help Center language still ties eligibility to a 4.8+ average seller rating, shipping within two business days, and low refunds/cancellations. A rough week of late scans can remove the program on the next automatic review (about every 24 hours).
